Payment Policy
1. Introduction
Welcome to Ulinzinga! This Payment Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding the purchase, use, and management of tokens on our platform. By purchasing tokens or using our services, you agree to the terms of this policy.
2. Token Purchase
2.1. Token System: Ulinzinga uses a token system where 1 token equals 1 Malawi Kwacha.
2.2. Purchase Methods: Tokens can be purchased using various payment methods, including but not limited to credit/debit cards, mobile money, and bank transfers. Specific options will be displayed at the time of purchase.
2.3. Minimum Purchase: The minimum number of tokens that can be purchased in a single transaction will be specified during the purchasing process.
2.4. Transaction Fees: Certain payment methods may incur transaction fees, which will be disclosed before the purchase is finalized.
3. Token Usage
3.1. Access to Content: Tokens can be used to access and purchase content uploaded by creators on Ulinzinga.
3.2. Non-Refundable: Tokens, once purchased, are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged back into cash or any other form of currency.
3.3. Non-Transferable: Tokens are linked to the user’s account and cannot be transferred or gifted to other users.
4. Earnings for Content Creators
4.1. Revenue Share: Content creators earn revenue from the tokens spent on their content. Ulinzinga takes 12% of the revenue generated per post.
4.2. Conversion to Kwacha: Once content is purchased, the tokens from the purchaser’s token wallet are converted to Malawi Kwacha and reflected in the Kwacha balance of the content creator.
4.3. Payout Schedule: Earnings are calculated based on user activity, and payouts can be processed at any time upon reaching the minimum threshold.
4.4. Minimum Payout Threshold: The minimum earnings threshold for a payout is MK 5,000.00.
4.5. Payout Methods: Payouts can be made via bank transfer, mobile money, or other methods as agreed upon with Ulinzinga.
5. Refund Policy
5.1. No Refunds on Tokens: As tokens are non-refundable, Ulinzinga does not provide refunds for tokens once they are purchased.
5.2. Content Disputes: If there are issues with purchased content, users can report the problem to Ulinzinga support. We will review each case individually to determine if any resolution is warranted.
6. Dispute Resolution
6.1. Payment Disputes: Any disputes related to payments or token purchases should be reported to Ulinzinga support within 30 days of the transaction. We will work to resolve disputes as quickly as possible.
6.2. Content Issues: Disputes regarding the content should be directed to Ulinzinga support, and we will mediate between the user and the content creator.
7. Security and Fraud Prevention
7.1. Secure Transactions: Ulinzinga uses secure payment gateways and encryption to protect user transactions.
7.2. Fraud Monitoring: We monitor transactions for fraudulent activity. Suspicious transactions may be flagged, and user accounts involved in fraudulent activity may be suspended or terminated.
8. Changes to the Payment Policy
Ulinzinga reserves the right to modify this Payment Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to users through the platform or via email. Continued use of the platform after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
